Or that EU money meant for legitimate purposes ended up paying party employees clueless about Brussels or Strasbourg?

Le Pen styled herself as the modern-day Robin Hood of Europe—robbing the rich EU institutions to fund her nationalistic agenda. She personally misappropriated €474,000 (of a total €4 million), roughly €17,555 per member state.
