While AI-powered content may exhibit flawless grammar and syntax, anomalies like awkward phrasing or unusual expressions can hint at fraudulent intent. For instance, phrases like “It weighs heavy on our hearts” in an advertisement should raise suspicion due to their unnatural tone.

In the case of the purported “Korhonen bike shop,” a quick online search yields scant information, a red flag for a legitimate business. Authentic establishments typically boast a physical address and contact details, unlike the elusive Korhonen enterprise. Furthermore, online cycling communities caution against engaging with the Korhonen ad, labeling it as a scam—a stark contrast to the sun-kissed, smiling couple depicted in the fabricated imagery.

As Kokkola highlights, distinguishing between genuine and fraudulent visuals, especially those crafted with AI, poses a significant challenge in today’s digital landscape.
